We cannot let society irraticate all of our important places in the name of money and progress. Millions of people have been inspired by the words that came out of Undershaw's halls; by the characters created under that roof and whilst walking those floors. Please don't take that away from us or from future generations. Please show reverence for a man and his home and all of the magic, hope and inspiration that stemmed from that beautiful house.

This is a historic building in every way and it should not, I repeat, NOT be touched by disrespectful and/or renovating people's hands. Everybody who's reading this now, please take a second to sign this petite petition and help us to SAVE UNDERSHAW! :D

I think it would be a disgrace if this house were not to be used as a lasting monument and heritage centre for one of our greatest writers.

The house and grounds at Undershaw would be a fitting place to visit and celebrate the enduring and worldwide appeal of Sherlock Holmes and ACD's other literary works.

I live near UNDERSHAW and I have an interest in helping to Save UNDERSHAW from the developers. This lovely old house is deteriorating and it is up to everyone to help save it.

A National Literary Heritage…is exactly what it says on the label… it is in the singular form each and everyone of them. Do not destroy what is both unique and inspiring.
