A great writer and believer in justice. His memory should be preserved in the home where he wrote many wonderful stories.

Same sort of council down here no thought for our heritage as usual they can never see it brings in tourism and money and keeps one of the great stories by this man alive all over the world.

Beautiful house. It would be such a loss. No one builds houses like this anymore. Only matchboxes to 'live' in!

I am pleased to support the work to save Undershaw which as an important part of our heritage.

This is a truly special building, it should be preserved and restored and allowed to be a place where Shirlock Holmes/Conan Doyle fans can visit and enjoy the sense of history.
Any other development or use would be a great loss to our heritage.
Fam. Prins
Keep up the good work!

It is vital this house is saved for the public especially as it is designed by Conan Doyle himself! We have houses/museums for Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, etc. etc. etc. and it is absolutely RIDICULOUS that his house is sat there, waiting to be a National Trust property or private museum and it is in the hands of greedy developers.
Bethany Parker
Best of look, an incredible author, often forgotten behind Sherlock Holmes
Stephen Doyle
Save Undershaw!

This jewel in the crown of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's history regarding the rich literary gift he bestowed upon us by giving us Sherlock Holmes, cannot be allowed to be desecrated in any way, shape or form.
Josephine Hall
I spent my wedding night here many years ago because it was the home ofSir Arthur and agree wholeheartedly with its preservation......
Judy Norman
I think this iconic building should be preserved and as far as possible re created as the home of Conan Doyle as a museum to the man.As a country we spend far too much money on other countries and nationalities and not enough on our Heritage for the world to see.
Arthur Watson
We also need help to get recognition of sites in Plymouth and on Dartmouth associated with Conan-Doyle's books.
