This is insane! the state forest system belongs to the people! Especially those who work so hard to maintain it for recreation for all to enjoy. Show some respect, and common sense to the people in the area!

Please do not destroy all the hard work put into maintaining this wonderful city resource by the Leominster Trail Stewars. I use these trails frequently and this would be a big loss for the quality of the limited recreational activities in Leominster.

Please do not disturb this beautiful trail system. Many walk, hike, run and bike on this land for a multitude of purposes. Please leave LSF alone!!

Setting up the 50 foot buffer zone to protect the esthetics of the existing trails is definitely the way to go. One of the most beautiful features of Leominster is the miles and miles of incredible hikling, biking and nature enjoyments areas we possess. To strip away the forest without consideration to the trail networks is unacceptable. I have hiked our trails for decades and yes the removal that was required due to the ice storm damages was devastating. Please maintain the integrity of our trails. In the end what we do now preserves our future.

Please allow a 50 foot buffer zone between the recreational trails and the logging activities in Leominster state forest. Many people use and enjoy those trails, and it would be a shame to lose them.

I've seen loggers leave behind a mess on what should be public use land. Selective cutting is great in theory, but loggers need to be held accountable for what they leave behind in terms of debris and skidder damage.

I hike the beautiful woods and environs around Leominster and totally agree that the trails need to be protected and kept in the shade of the magnificent trees.
