Forest Management can take into account the existing trails and either protect them entirely or restore them after the logging operation. I hope every effort will be made to preserve the work of the Leominster Trail Stewards and maintain the recreational opportunities they have created and sustain.

Please consider all the volunteer hours invested to date in the repair and maintenance of the great trail network at Leominster's forests, and include the Leominster Trail Stewards in the process of the marking of the best areas for logging.

Friends and I ride these trails very often. They are some of the best in the state and attract hikers and riders from many parts of New England who purchase local gas and food during visits. There's still visible damage from the last time this area was logged. Some trails never came back.

I do travel to Leominster to ride these trails and usually stop for coffee near by after the ride. please don't ruin the trail system that so many have worked to build and many more enjoy.

As a former saw mill manager and NEMBA member since 1998 and one of the people who built the bridges and trails in LSF please consider a trail buffer zone. I encourage logging but it should always be supervised and managed by a qualified forester. Selective cutting does less damage and promotes healthy forests. Please do not contract with the Biomass hacks who call themselves loggers. They are butchers and have no business on state owned land.

This is devastating news to me. I ride in LSF all the time and love the trails created/maintained by NEMBA. We have the right to enjoy the woods. There is no need to clear cut LSF. Let nature take it's own natural course.

This is the best (only?) adequate trail system in Leominster for hiking and Mountain Biking. We love it, respect the countless hours put into creating/maintaining it by volunteers, and want to keep it!

Saving the trail network in our open space is huge. Clear cutting our forest benefits no one.
Don't let the loggers ruin the trails.
