Leominster State Forest is one of the most popular riding/hiking destinations in a 50 mile radius. I've been riding/hiking there for nearly 20 years. Please extend us the courtesy of being able to continue to utilize such a wonderful resource.

Commercial are working to accomplish one goal. Making a profit. The timber is taken out. Everything else is left behind to rot. The existing corridor is taken over by undergrowth.

It would be a shame to these trails damaged or outright destroyed over something so short-sighted. Leominster State Forest has been an integral part of mountain biking in MA almost since the sport began.

Please protect the trails they provide priceless recreational opportunities and bring people and therefore money to the City of Leominster. Many man hours have gone into building these trails in a responsible manner. It would be a shame to have to reroute or rebuild such an expansive trail network.

We are fortunate to have so many trails that are enjoyed by many. The Leominster Trail Stewards should be involved in the plans for tree harvesting. They volunteer many hours and know the trails and what is the best way to deal with this issue.

Please don't take away one of the few pieces of the earth that we can still escape to from industrialization and pollution......let the stewards of the earth do our job to integrate and preserve resources that make this world a better place of balance, healing, and survival. Thanks

I ride these trails on a weekly basis..
Have seen the marked trees to be cut,
It's obvious they used our trails to find some of the best to harvest....
Sure hope they consider leaving the forest as beautiful as they found it when they hiked it....

Thing that sux is they do this usually when there is snow on the ground,trails cant be seen nor do the skidder dudes really care......

It would be one thing if they cleaned up the trails afterward but seeing as they just leave the area trashed then a buffer is necessary.

Urging the City of Leominster and logging contractors to partner with Leominster's trail stewards and NEMBA to recognize established trails and create a buffer zone, the standard in other DCR watersheds. Help save the trails!

Please reconsider the extent of the proposed logging so as to consider the many citizens who enjoy hiking in the treas affected negatively by the planned removal of so many trees.
