35th already has enough bike lane space. it does not need a dedicated path.

Bikers should just grow up and get a job and buy a car like a REAL adult.
(I do really like the tab for bikes idea, let's get Tim Eyman on it!)

Seriously! Since Tim Eyman is such an expert on "tabs', maybe he can put together a ballot initiative to make all cyclists register their bikes. Buy a brand new strider for you toddler.. take a trip to the DMV!

Are you advocating for more bike lanes Anthony?? I sure hope not. Have you not read about what they do to neighborhoods. THINK OF THE CHILDREN.

I like that this comment section is at such a point, I seriously cannot tell if you are being serious, or joining the satire.

Jim, have you NOT read all the comments!?!? Having bike lanes is going to destroy small businesses along 35th, like Starbucks. These bike lanes are un american. They will increase co2 emissions too! Killing animals, and kick your puppy!!

Please do Rob! I am torn whether to vote for this redesign or not. I do ride my bike thousands of miles a year, so in theory I feel like I should support this. But on the other hand, I am concerned about the lack of parking, the spillover traffic onto my street, and anyway, 39th is perfect for riding bikes as it is!!!

Compelling point Gary. Perhaps we should just use the sidewalk for loading/unloading, and then I can still park in front of the Starbucks in the morning!

Dangerous design opposed by cyclists. It is unlikely to encourage new bike riders and creates accessibility problems for others. It will force more peds to cross street mid block as well. Do I need to keep listing what is wrong with this design?

Please do not add bike lanes to 35'th Avenue NE. Traffic is bad enough already. This will just add to the congestion.

Please don’t take away more parking! I am NEVER going to bike commute! Or use transit. My job prohibits it.

There are bike lanes on 40th Avenue which bicyclists use. There is no need to decimate 35th Avenue.

We never voted for the master bicycle plan that has caused increased carbon emissions due to congestion and has impacted the small businesses along the aterials where all the parking has been removed. Please do not do this to 35th for a couple of bike riders. Please publish the annual number of bikes for each aterial that has bike lanes.

The congestion and slow traffic resulting from bike lanes adds more carbon to the atmosphere from idling cars. Cars sitting in traffic waste gasoline, too.
