Reject the Special Permit for 1442 Main St., West Concord, MA

This is an unbelievable affront on our town and land by an aggressive developer, and will be injurious to both abutters and the neighborhood. It also clearly violates sections 7.5.3.3, 11.6.4, 11.6.5 in the zoning bylaw (and potentially others as well)

The town of concord, the people of concord, have zoning bylaws and sustainability provisions that all align against this developement...one that is born of greed, and with no vision or care for the community.

This is a very destructive plan. Please do not approve.

In addition to being an ecological assault on our natural habitat which is why many of us live here, moving the hill and the trees will increase the noise from route 2 and the train, increase the pollution by removing important filtration and carbon dioxide and is utterly absurd waste of fuel and transportation to remove it. Preserve trees and stop over development of West Concord.

I am an 18-year old Concord voter and land abutter. Board approval is required when more than 1,000 cubic yards of earth is removed for a development. This project will require removal of more than 60 times that much earth, including the cutting down of gorgeous trees that have stood majestically for decades.

This is excessive, and as someone who lives directly next to the project (an abutter), it will be detrimental to the character of the neighborhood and its topography. Months of truckloads of earth being removed from behind my house and then transported down the road in front of my house will substantially change the character of this beautiful and walkable neighborhood and will forever alter its fragile topography.

Clear cutting trees and increasing impermeable surfaces is a recipe for disaster. We should be increasing the number of trees being planted and protecting the land. Do not let this go forward.

Time for the town to take a stance. Has anyone looked at the potential impact on school class sizes.

As an abutter to this land I am deeply upset that the developer has at no-time been in contact or notified me of any of the work proposed. I and my family will be significantly impacted in a negative way.

I think this development is completely ill-advised. Please keep West Concord healthy and green.

This project would destroy the scale of the neighborhood. Two houses would be more appropriate.
