Stop the demoliton of JP's character. Two new condo developments in my neighborhood are souless and boring, as described by above. I am against the demolition of this property on Zamora St and call on the city deal in a supportive way with the historic characteristics of Boston's neighborhoods rather than getting in bed with developers. Homeowners who are selling should have to be sensitive to the 'historic preservation' of their neighborhoods. AFter all, we pay for 'historic preservation' on our real estate tax. Of what?

Why does “progress” have to mean erasing history? Renovate the old building and create a historically sensitive addition instead of demolishing and replacing with what will likely be soulless boring condos
