The closure of Ysgol Mornant would affect many lives, it would be the death of the Welsh language in this area, this should happen. FCC should be promoting the school and Welsh language and culture.

I was one of the first pupils at ysgol mornant I am now 70 yrs old,my children and grandchildren attended ,also my great grandchildren for a while,both daughters niece and myself work there,parents love the family caring feeling Ysgol Mornant has for their children,other secondary Welsh schools will suffer if this closure goes on,please save our diamond of a school

Very fond memories of Ysgol Mornant, lovely teachers great friends I don't think that some people realise that they are taking away a piece of history and part of a community by closing places like this!

I never went to the school as a pupil but I have good memories of visiting on many summer occasions.... Memories of teachers past too.

It's essential that Ysgol Mornant is allowed to continue to operate as a central component of and for the local community. It plays a unique and fundamental role in delivering Welsh-medium education for this part of Flintshire. Its closure would be a travesty.

I started at Ysgol Mornant after being bullied at another school. I always help so happy and welcomed into the school and made some lovely and treasured memories. To close such a lovely school would be a mistake.
Our lovely language is disappearing and we need to keep this well loved welsh school going!
