SAVE YSGOL MORNANT!!! ACHUB YSGOL MORNANT!!!

I would ask you not to close this school. It has many memories for a lot of families. It is a good school. I went to ysgol mornant as did my 2 brothers. When I had my own children they were sent to mornant . It is a big part of the community. Please re-think about your proposal to close this much loved school

myself and my brothers and sister attended Ysgol Mornant from 1971, This provided us with the foundation required to school further at Glan Clwyd and believe we are the people we are today because of the ground root education the school provided and needs to be kept open to provide the level of entry required to ensure that the Welsh language continues . It was a first , it should remain a first and should remain open

Keep this lovely school open again my family members have atteneded this school and would be a choice of school for my daughter! Welsh schools are few and far between xx

To close suck a wonderful Welsh speaking school would be a great loss to the small Communities surrounding it. This would lead to the children of the small villages having to travel in order to continue to be taught through the Welsh language.the Welsh language needs to be preserved.

I attended this school. I'm very grateful of the education I received through the Welsh language here, it would be terrible if this, the last Welsh school in the area, was to close.

This beautiful school Ysgol Mornant Picton has been in our family's life for god knows how long. Ive shared many lovely memories here met amazing friends and had the best education a girl could ask for!! It really would be a shame to see the school shut down. Let's keep the memories growing. KEEP YSGOL MORNANT PICTON OPEN! XXXXX

Our welsh schools are vital to the welsh language continuing to the next generation. We cannot let these schools close. The communities need them

My daughter attends this school, I moved her here from another school and can honestly say she has never been happier and better as she is in Ysgol Mornant. This school has provided her with confidence and a safe, calm setting where she is comfortable. My full praises go to this school and the staff who work there.

Under Flintshires Welsh Education Strategic plan "they recognise that 5.9% of children in Welsh medium education is too low", not sure how closing or threatening to close a Welsh medium school helps to expand Welsh medium school roles.
