No fire stations should be closed. I am very unlikely upset about this.

Kimbolton Fire Service is a vital local facility. Without the cover provided response times will be inadequate.

Kimbolton is surrounded by agriculture, during a hot dry summer a fire engine nearby is essential. The local crew know the area well too.

Kimbolton Fire station is an important station covering a wide area and a key part of the local community. I am not confident the area will be sufficiently or safely covered by other stations. KIMBOLTON FIRE STATION MUST BE KEPT OPEN.

Manea is an isolated village and the proposal to close the Fire Station is ludicrous as NO way will Fire tenders from other areas get here in the time suggested due to roads being severely potholed and unsafe to drive a heavy vehicle at speed , and the congested traffic in towns. Who will back Chatteris and March Fire tenders should the need arise, and it often does.

In 1982 the Manea fire service saved my house from burning to the ground because of there quick response time. Please don’t take away our much valued service in this fast expanding village. Money is not everything. LIFE IS

Manea fire station has always been a great service for the area, no end of car accidents in this area where Manea fire station were first on scene, it will be a huge loss for the area.

We need to keep this fire station open has it is a great asset to the rural community and if taken away the other fire stations within the area will take longer to get there and that could mean someone losing their life or home .

Having been brought up and lived in Manea at my younger years, The Fire station and those who were and are part time employees kept the community and surrounding people safe, You can not put a price on a individual life.
My Mother who is 93 years of age ‘ Joan Barber has lived in the village for near, 61 years, knowing their is a local fire crew near by gives her and the expanding population piece of mind, the other fire stations being far could cause a incident of life.
Surely there are other ways of saving funds then closing a fire station in a growing population village

As the saying goes, 'Stupid is what stupid does'.
Unless the station is worth more as a building development opportunity, it clearly makes no sense.

They have been trying to shut the fire station for 35 years, crazy, I wonder if these fire chiefs lived out in the sticks if they would like there community fire station to shut, probably not.

I live in Manea, it is a really remote village and surely with all the growth and new houses being built, it wouldn’t be wise to close it. Why would they want to sacrifice us? I truly do not understand…

With the rate Manea village is growing I would have thought it all the more reason to have a fire station within the village.
