I ocompletely oppose the plan to subdivide this lot!! I do not want the construction trash, the noise, or the mcmansions!! Leave the trees and the green spaces alone!

If this is allowed, it will set a bad precedent for the rest of the neighborhood.

It’s sad to see this happen in once was a decent neighborhood. The folks that have stayed around still see it through the lense that it was prior to WW2 when it was an OK place. But in order for Memphis to better it’s reputation, we need to start rebuilding our downtrodden neighborhoods in the Yorkshire and Orange Mound and Raleigh areas. I’m honored that they have chosen this area.

Neighborhoods, the connective tissue of strong communities, should not be destroyed at the whim of the rich. There is no compelling reason, other than greed, to destroy this subdivision so that developers can make yet another fast dollar.

I understand the need to increase population density and to improve the tax base, but this is not the way to do it. Please do not ruin an established neighborhood. Do not ruin the tree canopy and the established wildlife habitat. There are areas within the city limits that would be a lot more appropriate for this type of development .

Yorkshire is far from a downtrodden neighborhood. It's one of the nicest places in town and does NOT need to be subdivided.

There are serious problems with infill that destroys the peaceful character of this neighborhood. Drainage and erosion are problems that have not been adequately addressed. HUGE issue is slamming these projects through without adequately notifying homeowners who would be most impacted by this development.

Our shopping centers and restaurants are already chains; total clones in every city and every corner of every city. Please don’t make our neighborhoods this way as well.
