Given that extreme weather and rising seas have undeniably been linked to the burning of fossil fuels and given that hydraulic fracturing, commonly known as fracking, contaminates finite potable water sources, releases tons of methane into the atmosphere, and even causes earthquakes, I stand with Yogaville to oppose this project. If you love this planet, I urge you to redefine yourselves as regulators of the decommissioning process of all fossil fuel infrastructure. Help usher in and transition us to truly safe and green renewable forms of energy for the good of the planet and future generations. Thank you.

It is not so important to our energy needs to have fracked gas pipelines - anywhere. Quite the contrary. We don't want these things built in an already industrialized area either. There are people who have to live in those places and they are already burdened. Let's stand together all of us in the line of fire from fracking and pipelines, as well as mountaintop removal, uranium mining, and nuclear power plants. There is a glut of gas in this country already and the leakage from pipelines puts methane into the atmosphere, a greenhouse gas 86 times worse than carbon dioxide if you measure it over a 20 year period, and even 120 times worse in the first year after it escapes. Imagine what that does to all of us everywhere who live on planet earth while these pipes keep leaking (which they assuredly do), and realize it doesn't really help to build them "somewhere else." We have other ways to solve our energy problems, and the very most effective of them all, even beyond renewables, is to be energy efficient. And that saves money too.

NO FRACKING!!!!! Yes! If it is so important, then build in an already industrialized area. Save Mother Nature and treasure the tranquility that Yogaville offers.

If this pipeline really MUST be built, it MUST be kept to areas already developed such as along a major highway. It MUST NOT come near the natural open spaces of Buckingham County VA
