I understand what the Republicans are saying about jobs and industry, but are they even thinking of how they're going about it?!? An ugly gas line through everything natural and peaceful, especially established communities such as this, is good for absolutely NOTHING! We need independent energy, and there are plenty of safe, favorable, job-making options, such as solar power and windmills. Not only is this pipeline irresponsible right now, as it it dangerous and contains non-renewable natural gas, but it actually discourages businesses from creating eco-safe, renewable energy sources. I live in Gastonia, North Carolina, and am appalled that my own state has not joined the fight yet! This effects all of us, not just Ashram-Yogaville and Nelson County!

The climate should not be destabilized, the environment should not be polluted, our health should not be compromised and our property rights should not be revoked in order for any company to make profits. We must come together to show that the will of the people must be respected!

I'd like to add that Yogaville's importance doesn't concern only the United States. Yogaville supports my center here in Brazil, as many others around the world, helping thounsands of people. This Pipeline brings danger and disturbance to Yogaville's community in Virginia and around the Globe. The benefits of having more cheap fuel does not compare to people's well being and safety.
