These gardens have been a special part of our community since the seventies. I learned to love gardening there; it seems senseless to remove what has worked so well for so many all these years.

We need more access and larger growing plots, not "improvements" that give the growers less ground for the same price...

the gardens are a very important part of the santa barabra community and must be kept as is, at the minimum...or, preferably, expanded. Keep the gardens!

Do not cut back on this or any other community garden. Our towns, cities, states, and nation are already divided enough. Places such as this garden are meeting places where people from all sorts of age, gender, race, and political leanings come together to meet and converse with each other amongst a common interest and ground. If what we truly want in our society is understanding and acceptance of one another then we MUST keep places like this ALIVE!

Community gardens like this provide desperatly needed food security for the residents using them. Does anyone in the City even realize that these gardens save families around $85 per week in groceries and are vital for our community members? In a city with increasing rates of food and housing insecurity how can the City Council reduce or eliminate these vital plots?
