The garden is wonderful as it is and we love that folks share their veggies with us - we live two doors down from the park and it's a joy to walk by and see so many working in it.

Please do not take much needed food security and peace away for unnecessary profit

Save Yanonali community gardens! This is a valuable community resource that should be more widespread and available in our community not reduced for the convenience of grass cutting. If our elected officials care about Santa Barbara residents facing food insecurity increasing access to community gardens must be a top priority.

Keep it the size it is! Or if anything expand it. Hardworking people deserve the opportunity to be outside and grow their own food.

It is so important that we preserve one of the only community gardens left in Santa Barbara. Our neighborhood loves and relies on it so much because very few of us have actual yards since there are many apartments. I hope Santa Barbara will recognize the importance of this community garden before a decision is made!

Keep the gardens as is. Same size. It is inconceivable that the City thinks their plan is a good idea.

My neighbor's gardener has fed himself and others off his community garden plot in Yanonali. Reducing the overall size of the garden and it's plots doesn't make sense and will adversely impact those who garden there and depend on it. Use the grant to improve what is there, not reduce it. I am a SB resident with the priviledge to garden in my own yard, we should be growing community gardens not shrinking them.

Gardens unite communities and support healthy nutrition. They are building blocks of sustainability. Don’t do this!!! Expanding the garden makes more sense than restricting the garden.

Eastside park renovations make sense, but the garden does not need a revamp! What do the gardeners want?

Save the community garden, don't ruin it! This is a successful community project and has been for many years. Why change it?

This is the type of vital community resource that makes living here special. Leave it alone!

Throwing a bunch of money at something does not always result in improvement. This is a wonderful tradition as it stands. Leave it be as is!

Why is the City opting to reduce the gardens that supply food in these unstable times? My vote is to save the garden in its present state. sharon kantanen Santa Barbara Resident

Save the Community Garden! We need more in this community that is for US, the residents, instead of for the city to make money.

I am very upset to think the City is planning this! I maintain a 50 rose garden at the Mission. We are very under-staffed there. I am delighted to support the Ynnonali Garden!
