Woodhead street car park is much needed by the community and by traders. It is especially needed by the disabled who would not be able to access shops from the Grove Street car park. Local businesses need customers to make New Ferry thrive. We need customers from outside of our area to build our local economy .

Although many welcome the regeneration initiative in New Ferry, the results of the previous consultation should be respected. It is shocking that the council has decided to ignore the wishes of New Ferry residents and push for a plan that was already rejected.

Disgusting overriding the agreed master plan. Pure profiteering at the expense of a much needed and used parking facility, especially the less able users

It was bad enough when they wanted us to lose half the car park now they want it all. There is loads of space for new shops, new houses and a car park!!!

As a partner owner of local business the car park is constantly used and will be a huge loss to all business near this car park

This is a well used car park, removing it would mean more people parking on the double yellows or in the precinct. Or end up the small businesses here loosing custom bringing a decline of the town.
This car park is needed!
