The council had plans drawn up to retain 75 parking spaces on this car park.
Due to being disabled the Woodhead car park is ideal for me to visit what local shops we have. The new advised carparks are too far for me to walk. Failure to keep this carpark will kill the few shops we have & the likes of The Croft retail park will benefit from our loss of trade.

We don't want flats or houses. We want shops. Why hasn't the people of New Ferry been asked what they want. We want somewhere to go and shop. The precinct needs to come back alive. We don't know who could be moving into new accommodation. Bring back the shops!!!

The worst thing that could happen to an already dying area. I have lived here all my life and have watched the whole area go down hill and now when people thought there was a glimmer of hope it’s gone

I use this every Saturday, it is always well used and there is nowhere else to park as the Grove St one is often full of there is an event there. Building on it will just cause traffic chaos and is a disaster waiting to happen.

Cars must be able to park on either side of the shopping centre and not be forced to park near the school, nursery & village hall hence causing severe congestion during busy periods.

As a business in New Ferry we need woodhead street car park for our customers. Less parking in the area will put people off fro shopping here .we NEED that car park.
