The council should be doing everything in its power to support New Ferry businesses. Removing car parks in any local shopping centre will reduce footfall and kill businesses.

Building on the car park will cause as much damage to the heart of New Ferry as the explosion did. It is a slap in the face for businesses and local people. Just a greedy developer who wants to maximise profit. The council should be ashamed of themselves! Ban this plan!!!

It`s hard enough getting through New Ferry without more on street parking. To lose this car park would be a disaster. No one will shop there if there is nowhere to park. New Ferry Road is already used to park next to the shops causing problems.

Adequate car parking facilities is a necessary requirement to entice customers to come and shop in an area. New Ferry definitely needs this necessary enticement

Come on, they're are other sites that could be built on. Local businesses will close if there is no parking.
