Save Wood Road Surgery, Tettenhall Wood

I can not imagine life without this Surgery . Please don’t let it close.

I am concerned because I find it difficult to see how so many patients can be satisfactorily accommodated on one site. There seem to be a lot of problems-access,parking to name but two. I am also opposed to anything that may lead to job losses.

Please keep wood Road surgery

This Practice is an essential part of the local infrastructure and is well used by patients.Large numbers of young families with kids and elderly. Keeping it permanently open with full sessions the same as Lower Green is none-negotiable.

The Lower Street Surgury would just not cope with the extra patients which would result in delays in existing patients getting appointments, at the moment thigs work really well. In addition there is an issue with parking in the Lower Street area and a lack of public transport services available for those who do not drive. Please do all that is possible to keep the surgery open as it will have a much wider impact

It is vital that The Wood Road surgery remains open. Travelling to Lower Green is not an option for local, sick or elderly residents. Many of whom don't drive & have poor mobility. Appointment times at Lower Green would be even more difficult to obtain & health care would suffer resulting in possible poor quality treatment from overworked G P's It just doesn't make sense to close Wood Road. It appears to be a management issue that needs addressing I am certain that there are G P's out there who would willingly work at The Wood Road surgery given the opportunity.

The practice has given no explanation (other than bland generalisations) as to why the proposal to close the surgery has come about.

It is vital that increasing numbers of patients in this area, particularly the elderly and the handicapped, have a local medical practice to service their needs.

I cannot imagine how the Lower Green Surgery and it's current facilities, including parking, will manage the extra demands created by the move of the Tettenhall Wood patients. Lower Green offers timely appointments for access to doctors and the nurse led services and I would be very unhappy if increased demand created a surgery where you had to wait for 3 weeks for a doctors appointment! It all runs so smoothly at the moment. I have more importantly heard a number of concerned and elderly Wood Road patients talk about the extreme difficulties they will have getting to Lower Green. Please work towards keeping Wood Road open.

I've been a patient at Wood Road for 36 years and now find it hard to get about and having to travel to Lower Green would be very hard as I don't drive and have no direct bus route and a taxi would be expensive. We need this surgery keeping open

The present surgery is very convenient compared to the other one at Lower Green. Parking is a problem there as residents use the car park as well. I don't want the present surgery to close at all.

I object strongly to the proposed closure of Wood Road Surgery, as I am now 75 Plus, and it is likely that my health will deteriorate, making the travelling to Lower Green More difficult

Parking is already a problem at Lower Green. If there is no provision for any more then the local roads will be gridlocked.

We need Wood Road Surgery, parking is already hopeless at Lower Green. Wood Road very handy no problems with parking always seen on time.

Think about all the Patients who need this surgery, where will they go. This is about there health care and needs.

I am concerned that with many more patients requiring appointments at Lower Green Medical Centre, not sure the facilities can accommodate everyone and , there will be more delays seeing a doctor. Also people will have difficulty getting there.

Many people will have extreme difficulty in attending the proposed transfer to Lower Green.

It is essential that this surgery remains open. It is impossible that the current service will be improved bt amalgamation with one site.
