We enjoy being able to fly with Sunwing to warm climates, Porter to Toronto and air Canada to anywhere in the world without a long drive. Prefer to travel from Canada as opposed to from Detroit. This will simply drive people to fly from Detroit. Also with the air traffic from all the cross border air traffic patterns would not be safe

I use this Airport all the time for both business and pleasure. Its wonderful!! It’s imperative to have this airport open. When our mega hospital opens it is that more important to have Windsor Airport open and thriving. Our current businesses and community requires this. We are a border city and many commute here from all over the world to do business in the greater Windsor-Essex, Chatham area. It will hurt our economy and deter larger business away from our area. We have already lost so much in Canada. Why turn away revenue in an area that is growing and constantly developing. The 401 doesn’t stop at London! We are a thriving area. It is shameful on our Canadian Government to close this and even still to consider this! How stupid can you possibly be!!

Besides all-important business and tech industry commerce hub, also huge travel industry hub with far greater potential due in part to real estate boom of To retirees and others building Essex County as an ideal location. Don’t undermine this progress!
