Do not withdraw airport services (i.e. air traffic controllers). The airport and is vital to the economic health of our city and as a international hub, it is crucial to important industry here.

I fly my private aircraft out of Windsor airport. I take my young kids flying with me all the time. Please keep the Windsor control tower active for my families safety.

It is ridiculous that this is even being considered. The economic impact plus the loss of safety at an international border? What are they thinking?

Canada does *not* stop at Toronto or London. There are 400,000 of us here in Essex County, in addition to everyone in Chatham-Kent and Lambton. We need an airport if we are to have any hope of becoming a significant transportation hub, and possible distribution centre, with air, ocean and lake freighter, transport truck and air transport, all converging here in the busiest international border crossing in Canada. This would be very short-sighted, and a huge lost opportunity. Keep Windsor Airport fully functional.

YQG tower is an important and essential service to the training and safety of aviation in the Windsor area and should NOT be removed. With DTW and Detroit City airport having airspace extending over the Windsor area along with the amount fo flight training occurring at YQG, I believe closing the control tower would be a grave mistake.

ATC is a vital service in the YQG area. I can think of many times that if we did not have this service how there most likely could have been a serious incident. The controllers in the Windsor tower do an exceptional job and I am proud to be on the receiving end of their expertise.
