Let us also remember that pigs very emotionally intelligent animals who are know to be smarter even than most dog breeds. They are clean and loving. This ordinance is outdated and has not accounted for the rise in pet pigs. An amendment is the logical solution.

I believe in order and it takes rules to keep order; that said I also believe there are too many codes, ordinances and red tape. This family should be able to keep their pets (pot belly pigs) and it is embarrassing it has gone this far. Let them stay!!

Pigs are livable intelligent animals. They are as smart as a 4 year old child. Just as lovable as any family dog. There is a difference between a domesticated pot belly pig and a farm swine. The key word being domesticated. I have a pig and this year he turns 3. Thank God I dont live inside Jonesboro! He was the reazon I moved out of the city and WILL NOT RETURN!

Leave the pot belly pigs & their family alone!! There have been no complaints made against the family or pigs! This is another example of govt. local, state, or federal over-stepping their boundaries! Let the pigs stay with their family! Go find real criminals!!

Had a pig as a pet. Agree that it's no different from a dog. People are just intolerant now, even of dogs.
