Save Wilbur & Fern: AMEND Ordinance 952

Potbelly pigs are gentle donesticated animals. I see no problems with keeping the animals within city limits as long as they are being properly cared for just like any other pet.

Amend the law it is way out of date A lot of people have dogs bigger than these potbelly pigs

I hope this family can keep their pets! I would be devastated if I had to give up one of my animals. If there haven't been a complaint, then what's the big deal? It's not like they are breeding and selling these animals. It sounds that the family, friends, neighbors, and other pets loves these two pigs! Let the family keep their pets! I live outside city limits and if they weren't so big I would love to remove them. I have a small house but lots of land!

Please let the pot belly pigs stay in their home. They are pets not farm animals.

I have know this family for many years. They are community professionals, and have raised their animals with the utmost care and responsibility. This is truly a travesty of justice should they be removed from the home.

This is ridiculous! She has kept her animals, house, etc so clean. These pigs act just like her dogs. There is no reason they shouldn't be treated like such. They are domesticated and I wouldn't refer to them as swine!!

Potbelly pigs kept as pets are not a smelly or dangerous nuisance - They are no more of a problem than keeping a couple of large dogs. Please amend this ordinance.

I love pigs please don't take these wonderful pets from the only home they know.

While pet pigs seem peculiar to many of us, it is well documented that they truly do make great, obedient, and particularly learnable pets (in no small part due to their high levels of intelligence). Perhaps a vote and/or QandA could be held for the residents of sage meadows? I hope this community doesn't let ignorance be an excuse .

Please do not take away their pets. They are not running loose and causing anybody any trouble. They might grieve to death!

A pet is a pet regardless if it's a dog, cat or pig. They aren't causing harm or bothering anyone.

Potbelly pigs can be trained to use litter boxes/ go outside.

Pigs are super intelligent. Taking them away from their family is unacceptable. Obviously, these animals are very well taken care of and the owners should be allowed to keep them.

I weed and feed lawns in sage meadows and have petted these pigs. Let the Barkley,s keep their pets.
