Shame on council

This was tried in Sydney, and it was a disaster. You will simply end up with more illegal dumping and/or more general waste in the recycling and green waste bins. Sounds nice in theory, but is not nice in reality.

This is a health & safety issue when it's hot I a have maggots in my bin after a few days having them and the smell for 2 weeks is not on

No doubt the rates won't drop to reflect a reduction in the service provided.

Youve got to be joking. As rate payers we pay for weekly rubbish removal as part of our council rates So do we now get a 50 % reduction for a fortnightly service ?

I am expected to dispose of soiled nappies every fortnight! How ridiculous and unsanitary.

There is only 2 in our house hold but I feel for the families as we had 5 of us and I know how much you fill those bins.

Our rates keep increasing but they take more away from us. What is going on in our regions / state / country?

I think this is absolutely ridiculous. My bin is going to be overflowing with dirty nappies, it is already full on a weekly basis.

Everyone will just put in the recycling bin, what if you have children in nappies, that’s a health risk in summer for sure. The rates we pay easily would cover the costs of weekly collection.

In this climate hygiene demands weekly collection

Disgraceful decision, watchout for the health repercussions.
