Save Water Skiing in Virginia!

Why anyone would want to ban skiing is beyond me. A great way to create memories with family and friends.

Please allow skiing on the lake

I live and ski on a lake smaller than Chickahominy and all water sports live well together.

Waterskiing is a fun activity for the whole family & helps to keep our waterways healthy!!

Water skiing is a wonderful, family sport. Please do not restrict it on Chickahominy lake.

Please support a very healthy sport. -All ages can ski together -Sport throughout life from 5 to 90 -Family activities -For girls and boys. woman and men

water sports have been an important part of our family's activities for 60 years. Sad to think of life without skiing and boating.

Water skiing is an awesome family sport, unlike other team sports. My parents taught me to ski at age 7 and my husband and I pasted water skiing on to our kids. They are now World Champions and Professional Water Skiers.

It is a fun family activity. My Dad taught me and I have past his teaching to my children.

Too many regulations are inhibiting us from being a free country!! Waterskiing is a healthy, enjoyable sport that brings family and friends together. Please don't let this fantastic sport be taken away and over regulated by uninformed bureaucrats!

Open water should never be restricted. Families need recreation areas.

Watersking and boating are fun family activities from mid spring to late fall. Our family spent almost every weekend during this timeframe during our children's lives. We took our daughter to the James river when she was only a month old and our son only a couple weeks old. When our children were 8 and 5 respectively a friend had training skis and our children learned to ski that year. To this day they love the water and these activities. Please do not ban this family sport from any of our counties, our state of Virginia, or the other 49 states. When you can take the whole family, to include the family pet, on a fun outdoor excursion, what kind of a message are you sending to future families if you ban this activity. Thank you.

Water skiing is a great family sport and banning activities that a few don't like is a very bad precedence.

A collaborative approach allows everyone to leverage our collective waterways. Banning a sport isn't the right answer.

The state's waters should be freely used by everyone not limited by a select few.

Family's that play together, stay together. Open up the lake for organized skiing.

100% agree with, "Instead of banning a family activity like water skiing, why not work with the American Water Ski Association to promote a healthy lifestyle? Allowing water skiing on your lake will promote a healthy lifestyle and a great family sport."

Good luck to these guys who are working very hard to make this happen.
