Waterskiing is done safely on all size lakes all over the country and ever the world. Waterskiing to the uninformed person is a boat pulling a skier not much different that a boat traveling on a lake. boaters are suppose to follow rules and if they do adding waterskiing to a lake if done by the rules should be not threat to anyone. On the other side waterskiing is a sport a pastime an exercise a family event and is the source of great summer fun. recreational skiers go on to compete. College scholarships can be had. A focus for their recreational life waterskiers are generally more knowledgeable and responsible boaters as well

probably some of the most skilled boaters (drivers) on the water....the speed at which one pulls a waterskier barely creates a wake......keep people fit and having fun on all bodies of water....

Water skiing has the same right as fishing, tubing, and personal water crafts. Under water hazards should be clearly marked for all water enthusiasts. As should idle zones. Besides that the lake is wide open.

All water sports should be permitted on public bodies of water.

The last thing the world needs is to outlaw activities that promote a healthy lifestyle. Society is already sedentary enough...lets don't make it worse!

Maybe the County will provide skiers a private site if the take Chickahominy Lake away. If you play baseball, tennis, basketball or a variety of other sports they provide fields for residents to play. The lake is our field of play and water skiers pay Taxs just like people who play these other sports!
