A great activity that can bring families together. This should be supported.

Waterskiing is a time-honored family athletic activity that should be enjoyed where ever possible. It should not be restricted except for skier safety considerations (underwater obstructions, military operations, dams, etc.).

We live on a 1040 acre lake and regularly have up to 20 boats towing skiers, boarders, etc at a time with a fantastic safety record.

My lake is 73 acres and have plenty of room to ski. Sounds like someone has an unfair agenda.

That is a huge lake, much bigger than ideal for skiing, but certainly not too small. Most custom built specific private ski lakes are around 2,000 feet long and 250 feet wide. Size is certainly not an issue on your lake. For a google earth view of my private ski lake key in 24379 Lodi Rd., Jerseyville, IL 62052. It is 2,000 feet long and is the site of several world record capable tournaments such as the JR. US Open, the CanAM and two St. Louis Record tournaments already sanctioned over July 4th weekend this summer.

Keep skiing alive - it is a family event just as influential in the lives of kids and children just as much, if not more, than fishing.

This is not a small lake by any stretch of the imagination! There's plenty of room for skiing, tubing, and fishing/etc. The waters belong to the people for their enjoyment.

This is a family sport and activity that I grew up doing and I have the fondest memories of our time on the water. Now, I am creating those moments with my family.
Please!
