The nursery is a lifeline to many single and young parents, or any parent seeking to continue their studies. We must all support these determined mums and dads and help them realise their potential. Save the nursery!

Without the nursery, it will make it difficult and sometimes impossible for HE students with young children to enrol on HE courses.

What can I say other than brilliant caring professional service. Why shut something that works - nearly every single young person alone has a child under 5 and as a government we want them to work get educated, help us to help them by not closing something so vital and so good.

My grandaughter attended this nursery from 8 months old, she was very happy there, home from home and caring and friendly staff

I know lots of children who attend this nursery and it would be devastating if it shut down. Can't you move it into another building or build student accommodation somewhere else?

Massive mistake to shut down such a needed nursery in the area and also a fantastic learning tool for the students studying childcare at the college.

This is the first nursery my son ever went to and I will be eternally grateful to the staff for taking great care of him and dealing with my separation anxiety. Without them or the college itself I would not be at university training for a new career. Xx

Unbelievable! How many parents will be restricted access to further education to progress their lives if you take away the childcare that allows them to do it !

This gives those mums who have had children at an early age to train to be something or do something instead of replying on the state.

Awful news, my daughter has been there from 8 months old and is now 4 and going to school this year! Fantastic nursery, and such a loss to the community!

I didn't know there was one people are saying that there are too many people on benifits so why let a mum or dad have the opportunity to better her or his life by getting the skills to do the job they want to do

Allowing young mums to study and create a future for their family and it acts as training for students - surely it's a win win!
