Students, Parents, and Alumni..It's time we take this fight to them. This should have been a decision of the taxpayers. 1 plan based on unvalidated information is not something we should ever settle for. I am against the plan to repurpose Vets. LONG LIVE HURRICANE PRIDE!!!!

Vets is a school that is all about the community and by closing vets you are hurting the community. This school has done so much for the young teens in our community and by closing vets you at not giving them the jetway opportunity that I and other graduates had. Also one of the most amazing things about vets is the faculty. Those educators truly care about the school and the students and want to see them and this school be successful. Personally I feel that the positives outweigh the negatives and Watwick Veterans Memorial High School should remain open!

There are too many unanswered questions and when questions ARE answered, there are too many discrepancies. A professional, unbiased study needs to take place in order to determine what Warwick's school-community needs REALLY are..

I would of liked to see exactly what areas of the Vets community would go to either school. I would have like to see proposed bus schedules. What time would the bus run start, how long the ride would be, would the start of scholl change to accomidate the bus scheduel. I would of like to see a map of the parking at the school as it is today and how it would be changed to have room for the new influx of student, teachers, support staff and parents needing to be at the school. I would have like to see exactly how the athletic field stand now and how the would change with this plan. I would like to know what classes are at each school now, for example chorus, art, shops ect. All these items and the students have not even entered the school. A smaple schedule of how all these kids would be put into classes and so many other contigencies. These points and so many more should have been part of the Long Term Planning Committess report.

I graduated from Vets last year, and it is so much more than a high school. Everyone is like family. But I know this is more about money and it is not going to save any money to close vets. There will be extra busses, extra security due to more bullying and fights. Pilgrim is not in good condition, and with all the new students, a lot of repairs are going to need to be done. Vets was designed to be a high school, in the middle of everything. And why is money such a big issue? Education is supposed to be about the students. Don't make the unemployment and drop-out rate worse than it already is. Keep vets open. It will always be Hurricane season in Warwick.

Vets was and still is my second family the teachers there are all very helpful and supportive. The kids at warwick vets do not want their school to close, putting two rival schools in one building it only going to cause big problems. pilgrim kids are publicly voicing hope much they already don't want vets kids at their school. Many of the kids I know do not know how they would even get to pilgrim, so you can watch your drop out rate rise. I know I would not have been happy if I didn't get to graduate with my high school class. Leave the schools how they are!

This whole situation isn't even close to where it should be put for a vote!! Too many unanswered questions and too many voices, ideas, suggestions haven't been heard! We should all have a say in what happens to our children and our communities.

This school is a landmark for Warwick children entering High School. It is just wrong.I believe they this was pre planned way back when they closed John Greene.Gortons on it's way out and now Veterans.They preech how important the children are ....as long as it doesn't get in the way of their plans.Breaks my heart.
