Warwick vets is more than just a school. it is a community and if it is closed down you will be removing hundreds of teenagers from the community of relationships that they have built with friends and faculty. this is not going to help save money. it is going to cost more to bus all of these kids around the city.

WVMHS gave me the tools and the foundation to succeed throughout my life. It was a fine school then (Class of '65) as I'm sure it is today. Do not deprive the current and future students of that community the lifelong positive impact that it will have on their lives.

people look at vets as just a school but current and former students would agree and say that vets is FAMILY. The school board is being selfish and thinking about themselves rather than others. You are going to tear this community apart if you make vets a junior high school. You can spell hurricane without I CAN. Once a hurricane always a hurricane.

Why take away a whole high school filled with kids that you know are going to stand up for their education, their school, their learning environment, teachers, principals, etc.
It's pointless to be honest. Let them stay in the environment they know best.... Save vets.

i love this school i graduated in 2012 ive missed it i would have never met my friends who are my friends to this very day :) i would have never met an amazing chorus teacher. i would of never passed with out the faculty. This school needs to be saved dont take this school away from us. I would like to go to high school reunions!

I am signing this petition and I am signing to fight to keep Vets open. In my opinion the closing of Vets is a bad decision and seems to b e to quick to happening. I think that more time needs to be taken to weigh out the good and bad. Also i feel that there are not enough facts and proof of what is said to be happening for us to move forward. We need to see more hard evidence and facts that can ACTUALLY be backed up to move on with this transition. So far I have not seen anything that makes me feel comfortable with this yet.... so far!
