This pool is used by so many. It would be a great loss to the community to lose a place that helps people learn to swim, enables schools to have their carnivals, for kids and parents to enjoy water play. It is insane that you would even consider closing this facility. We need this facility for our community - find another location for Forest High School!!!!

Once again there is no foresight with planning. Closing the pool will be detriment to the many schools who use it for their carnivals and training as well as the local community. In the age of many drownings and trying to educate people in the importance of learning to swim I find this a ridiculous move to close the WAC.

Please do not demolish the Aquatic Centre. I think the proposal by Ron Allars is a good solution.

My three children learnt to swim and later participated in squads, as did I, at the WAC. Including the base ball fields, the WAC is a fantastic facility that the local community, and not so local, has come to rely upon. It plays a key role in the health and character development of children, and is invaluable for older people wishing to pursue healthy living.
I cannot believe that you have even considered taking this facility away. Please reconsider.

If the plan is to redevelop the Warringah aquatic centre, where do you propose to build a replacement aquatic centre? The new Manly aquatic centre can barely cope with current patronage due to very limited parking. This is pure madness and very short sighted
