Why get rid of a perfectly good swim centre. A lot waste of money to rebuild. Resources of the pool will never be the same.

I use the Aquatic Centre frequently, just to keep fit. The facility is well located, easy to get to and park and the plan to move to a smaller pool in the middle of the hospital precinct is just not of any merit. By all means build a pool that caters for those in need as part of their rehabilitation but leave this centre alone

I use the Aquatic Centre 3 days each week, it is a 1 st class facility providing for every swimmer from the elite to those who just want to keep fit. Anything smaller and in a less accessible location is not acceptable. Dont close the Aquatic Centre or there will be political damage.

Keep the pool as is or people will die from not learning how to swim, regardless of there being a new hospital or not.

Please keep Warringah Aquatic Centre open at its current location. The centre is ideally located and does not require relocation. The Frenchs Forest school relocation should not be linked to the pool.

The Warringah Aquatic Centre is an important sporting and recreation hub for the Northern Beaches community and should remain in the bushland setting surrounded by other sporting facilities.

It is an essential part of the Northern Beaches and its strong spotting culture. It's indoor location for training squads, learning to swim and school carnivals is a part of Northern Beaches History and should be preserved and upgraded if necessary. Olympians have trained here as children and without it here there may be a next generation of future Olympians who don't have access to follow their dreams.

Bad planning to move it when so much money has just been spent on it, it's used to facilitate many school and sporting events which it won't be if a smaller polo is built to replace it and having it next door to the new high school is the obvious choice

I am absolutely against the closure of yet another sporting venue - the Boy Charlton pool in Manly is inadequate for swimming carnivals and closure of Warringah aquatic center will put pressure on an already pressured venue.
With our young people being told to exercise more, the question remains how are they going to do this if sporting venues get sold to developers for shops or houses!

Why would you take away something that everyone loves using??!! Cause I've grown up with this and it's helped a lot so you should keep it open for the little guys

NSW councils have already devastated numerous communities from closing local pools. It is unacceptable that existing pools are closed without the alternative pool being built and opened in the same locality. When are we as a government and council voted on by their communities going to wake up and support the very people who out you in power. Please do not close WAC. Please.

Families use this pool regularly. It's a great spot to spend time with family, and the kids have lots of fun in a safe environment. Careful consideration please as to how this new proposal will affect our local pool complex.

We need a pool available, and have had rate payers money used to refurbish the outside pool. Find another spot to build the school.

I've been using this pool for 30 years and still use it several times a week along with my kids. The manly pool is already very busy, I can't imagine it will handle the overflow if the aquatic centre is closed. Please don't close this key feature in our community. It keeps us active, healthy and hopefully out of hospital.

What short term thinking and waste of resources. Listen to the people of Warringah and let them have a say on what happens in their community
