Swim school places are essential for all northern beaches kids and an indoor pool for all ages to keep fit. Please reconsider.

What other establishment do we have similar to Waringah Aquatic Center on the nlNorthen Beaches. We're all those teachers lieing through their teeth when they told us that the school swimming carnival is a contributing component to our education? I think not. I beleieve thst it us the truth and to all those who disagree with me atleast fight for the pool so you can have your one free day off each year.

It is very important the Warringah Aquatic Centre (WAC) remain open. Removing our 50m indoor pool would mean the loss of an excellent facility that services so many in our community. From schools to charitable organisations, from toddlers to seniors, the WAC truly is a genuine community facility. Manly Pool alone will not be able to deal with the demand for aquatic facilities on the Northern Beaches. An outdoor pool is not appropriate to run school carnivals. I do hope the Council will reconsider their plans for the WAC and move towards a solution that maintains the pool in its current location and facilitates the building of a 21st centre high school.
