The aquatic centre is vital to our children's safety and health. The commission moth needs it for squads, lessons, carnivals, water polo, fun.
Mega money had just been spent upgrading it ,Please don't leave us without it whilst you build another. Save our centre

I agree wholeheartedly with Toby's comments. I finally learnt to swim at the centre whilst in my 50's... 21yrs ago.

The facility needs to be upgraded and not demolished. It accommodates lessons, fitness classes, swimming organisations, water polo games, swimming carnivals etc...

The aquatic centre should remain open as it is where children go to learn to swim. closing the centre takes away the only covered swimming pool available to residents. The pool is used by older rate payers as form of fitness, it allows them to do exercise with no major impact. Surely there is other land available i.e. the baseball site or the area between the pool and wakehurst parkway where Forest High could be built.

With all the drownings that happened this summer it would be criminal to close the pool.

I have been a regular swimmer at the Warringah Aquatic Centre (5 days a week for the past 35+ years). I urge the government to leave the aquatic centre open to the public as is.

The proposed alternative should be an addition. Since the Aquatic Centre was built the surrounding population has increased, not decreased.
Find a way to keep this important community asset
