I take my kids to the Aquatic centre at leat once a week in terms time and a lot more that that during the holidays. It has and is playing a big part in their development and personal safety around water. A vital aspect of living on the Northern Beaches. I would be very sad to see the absence of this kind of facility for any length of time.

We need to save such a wonderful place for our family

It is important to keep this community facility which is used by a huge variety of people who have varied needs and who would not get those needs met in any other pool, either the "planned" one or the current Manly one.

This is a wonderful modern indoor 50m pool that is very well used by locals, schools, and swim and waterpolo groups, if the school needs to be relocated, build it AROUND the pool, such a no-brainer. It would be criminal and negligent to rip up this popular facility. As a local ratepayer I own this pool and demand my pool is left alone!!

Don't close the only decent 50m pool in this area!

Totally agree. Local community can't be left without a Pool.

Please reconsider. Put the precinct on the Parkway site and leave the school and swimming centre where they are.

Save the WAC please. A covered 50m pool with facilities to fit 1000 can't be destroyed.

The community deserves to keep their Swimming pool. It services many people in the area.

As we enter another few days of over 40° heat, I implore you not to take away Warringah aquatic centre. Surely there is a solution where the centre can be retained and can continue to service the community.

Short sighted plan to meet the desires of developers.

How can you spend our money on upgrades with the intention of closing this community facility. Absolutely disgusting

I've been swimming here regularly for the last 10 years due to a bad back. I use it before work and would not have the time to travel to another location. I would be devastated by its closure

Warringah Aquatic Centre must stay where it is; where it belongs

Why demolish to rebuild in 10 yrs time! I've swam here when it was first built. My kids enjoy. Why should they miss out now. Bring back the crèche!

This proposal is wasteful and unnecessary. What's wrong with leaving the High School in the middle of the vibrant new Frenchs Forest town centre and keeping the pool in its peaceful position.
