Leave the Forest alone.
I've lived here since birth, 63 years, and I HATE what is happening. I'm moving away, as many others have done.

The WAC has so much potential and should in no way shape or form be torn down. The community needs this facility and the recent upgrades to the outdoor pool are wonderful, Manly Pool could have saved a small fortune if that had had the foresight to improve the toddler area already there instead of what they did.

I'm surprised that the council are even considering closure of Warringah Aquatic Centre, there aren't enough pools in the area for swimming squads and training closing another pool would be catastrophic and surely not in the best interests of the local community.

Keep Warringah Aquatic Centre open. We use this pool all year round. The Manly pool would not cope with being the only Aquatic centre for the beaches. There's very little parking and already lanes are constantly closed for swim school training...Find another location for the school..

Totally agree! My kids both train there for swimming and water polo, swimming carnivals are held there and I swim too. It's within walking distance of home and a great facility.

Essential to keep it open The Boy Charlton could not cope with the increase in numbers despite what they say. Swimming indoors there is unbearably noisy and at times you have to swim 3 or 4 to a label outdoors.

The WAC is a fabulous facility for all ages, and to be able to swim indoors, all year 'round and out of the hot sun is wonderful. We use it for squads, carnivals and leisure.
The Northern Beaches definitely needs more high schools, but why at the expense of this Aquatic facility. It makes no sense at all. There are many swim coaches that are currently struggling to find available pools for coaching. Council must go back to the drawing board to come up with a smarter solution!

The Warringah Aquatic Centre represents a huge financial investment by the Council as well as a huge investment in the wellbeing of locals and workers! It is important to keep it to represent council values, and so all can continue to use this fantastic facility for school carnivals, its strong learn to swim program, gym facilities, play facilities, locally unmatched diving facilities and fitness programs, not to mention the high calibre swim squads run by Big Blue! Don't throw away the strengths and values of Warringah Council, now Northern Beaches Council!

I use this facility weekly as do many others. Place the new school on the other possible site and save this public amenity
