Hope a way can be found to keep this pool, which I believe is a necessity in this area and find other ways to keep the school and extent the hospital. There are plenty of house owners in that area who are willing to sell to make more land available for this hospital and money could be used to purchase those rather than have to build a new school. Win win

You build a hospital when we have Two in the area and Large ones within a 10km radius. You then want to get rid of the pool when we have only one other 50 meter indoor and that is as far as Manly Hospital that you thought was too far away. You are moving a High School that is needed in the area that it is and you don't have the road infrastructure yet for any of it. The pool is a valuable source for this area especially in Winter. Manly is a trek from Cromer, Collaroy and all other areas around there

The solution to the problem of relocating the WAC pool and the school is very simple. All that needs to be done is:
1. Turn the lower western car park at the WAC (the section closest to the WAC and Wakehurst Parkway) into a multi-storey car park. The fact that Warriewood Square put in a multi-storey car park over reclaimed swamp land means that to put a multi-storey car park at the WAC it should be easy! It would be nice if the car park was free, however, there are businesses around the area who would abuse this car park. To alleviate this problem, have a boom gate system. The public that have a yearly pass to the WAC already have a card to use the facility. This card would then be used to get out of this car park. All other people would pay to use the multi storey car park. This would have a two fold effect. It would help to pay for the car park and it would encourage people to join the WAC on a yearly membership. People don't like being slugged with double dipping e.g. paying for parking!
2. Develop the new high school across both sections of the eastern end car park (furthest from the WAC) where there is plenty of room
3. Leave the playing fields for the children to play on. These playing fields would then be adjacent to the school for easy access!
4. Redevelop the WAC into a more up to date aquatic centre using the existing facilities, including a hydrotherapy/program pool and a water polo pool. There is a shortage of access for the general public to hydrotherapy pools on the Northern Beaches. Compared with the rest of the state, the Northern Beaches has an elderly population and trying to keep this population healthy and out of hospital, especially from falls, which cost millions of dollars a year to the government in health care costs. Also, there is no dedicated water polo pool on the Northern Beaches for all the water polo teams to train in.
It does not make sense to pull down these existing facilities, leaving the Northern Beaches wi

The Aquatic centre need to stay yes it needs work but if our council can spend millions on proj ect that are not feasible why can't they maintain their properties eg consultancy on development of Brookvale Oval , changing council stationary ,street signs 2 times in the past few year

The perfect demonstration of the State Governments (current and preceding) total mishandling of the hospital development. Shame, shame, shame. Leave our community services alone (don't you DARE touch our baseball fields) and find somewhere else to put the school. Put people before development for a change.

Multi story car park near pool and school built at eastern end in the carpark-both with underground parking. School then has access to all the grounds and our beloved pool remains intact There are only 3 indoor pools in thearea-Ryde Blacktown & Warringah(this side of the harbour and the schools use them for carnivals

To be without a pool of this quality for years would be devaststing. An alternative plan that keeps the pool would be the best possible decision

There is absolutely no good reason to demolish the Warringah Aquatic Centre - none at all. Demolition would be a criminal act
