Once upon a time the Northern Beaches produced world class swimmers. We never will again if there a no 50 mtr pools to train and race in.

As a member of the Warringah Masters Swimming Club I do not want to lose this facility. We train as a Club twice a week and are Swimming informal sessions at least once or twice a week. We attract 200 swimmers from in and out of Sydney for our carnival and there is nowhere else on the Northern Beaches that has the capacity to seat swimmers and spectators. Our moto is Fun, Friendship and Fitness and we have 100 members between the ages of 25 & 92. Please think about us and all the other users who will be so greatly affected if you demolish the WAC. The Warringah Aquatic Centre must stay!!!

This is a wonderful area for our kids, nothing like it this side of Sydney. It would be a disservice to the community to take it away!

Please keep the aquatic centre , I have so many fond memories as a child. The school will be so close the children can go to the pool. And so many people are enjoying in now

We only agreed to a hospital and surrounding changes but they are trying to force a total environment change on the whole surrounding areas. We don't need a huge development on the high school sight already so many houses and shops are being demolished along with our French FOREST! There are no trees left as it is and I don't recognize my own area. Build the hospital but don't trash our environment!! Leave the school and the aquatic center as they are we don't need bigger shops we don't want to be another chatswood. We just want to be frenchs forest. We are prepared to travel 20 mins for all of that we don't need it here.

This pool is so well used, 1000s of people would miss out on such a valuable health asset. The new outdoor area is fantastic and has just cost council X amount of $$$$s which would a criminal waste to just dig up again so soon

The Aquatic centre has been the base of my swimming from age 3 and now my 3 children are here frequently. We can not loose a valuable community resource and expect all of the swimmers to be re-located to other centres that are already full ! Save WAC

It's a great, relaxed pool to swim laps in, and the diving boards are great fun too!

Ridiculous. Keep it open. The new hospital is taking its toll on everything and the local council needs to start listening to the people they represent.

There is too much pressure for swim schools and carnivals in this area as it is. Warringah is the only pool that services 50m indoor for Rec areas from kids learn to swim to squads, carnivals, aqua fitness and a place for families to go all year round. We cannot afford to lose this facility!

My kids love the new developed outside area, would be crazy to take this new facility away from the community
