The pool and school should coexist! no need to knock down a good facility. Upgrade what we already have.

The current plan is to replace the existing facilities with a 25 metre pool. This is after adding thousands of apartment dwellers in the area. While we hear of an obesity epidemic, reducing recreation facilities is madness. And what about the ongoing health benefits to all the current users?

I think it is ridiculous to demolish the pool to build a school. Perhaps the school could be built in belrose as was proposed many years ago.

Essential to keep for local school swim carnivals. It's under cover and therefore SunSmart and it's 50m.. brilliant for spectators too. Please keep it for all the community to use.

My family are regular long-term patrons of the Aquatic Centre. They are increasingly dependent on the Centre and it remaining in the area so that, as senior citizens, they can maintain fitness.

This facility is the backbone of wellbeing on so many levels for this community..closing the pool would be massive loss.

Warringah Aquatic Centre is a vital swim centre for the Northern Beaches, providing amenities to many sporting clubs and the community. If you must use the site to relocate Forest High then you need to build a new centre including an indoor 50m pool, at another venue first. 1 overpriced swim centre at Manly is not sufficient for the needs of the community.

This center is valuable for the community the school can be built next door. There is no need to destroy something that's doing so well

The Northern Beaches badly needs swimming and diving infrastructure. If the WAC is lost only Manly Pool serves the entire Northern Beaches LGA and it not equipped to do that.

My 3 kids have been having swimming lessons here for years and my sons school has their school swimming carnival here. They have also just built an outdoor kids play area recently.I also swam here as a kid.To knock the Aquatic Centre down would be very disappointing as I have so many memories there. It needs to stay put!!!!!

This is appalling that the government is closing this pool as it is used by so many of us growing up swimming squads, watercolour and weekend fun. Stop the closure

Shame on the Northern Beaches Council & the NSW Government. Rethink your options and leave the Warringah Aquatic Centre be!
