The school could be built on the other side of the ovals which allows the pool to stay where it is. The huge amount of money currently being spent at the aquatic Centre won't be wasted and additional improvements such as a water polo pool could be added.

It is a ridiculous suggestion to destroy the only local Olympic-sized pool, which is widely used for a huge range of purposes, in order to accommodate for the rebuilding of a school which functions perfectly as it is. To do so would be a vastly unnecessary waste of time and tax payers' money.

The WAC is an important hub of the community with many groups involved from young children to seniors I use it every week and cannot imagine my week without it for my health both physically and mentally . It is a great facility as Is in its current location and amongst the bush why should it be knocked down ? I'm appalled to think I could lose my Warringah Aquatic centre .

I grew up in the area and used the pool regularly. Qualified for the Olympics in that pool after training in it for years. It would be a shame to see it go.

Keep it open. An olympic sized pool is needed in this area. So many more residents have been encouraged to move to the Northern Beaches by development. The swimming pool is an essential amenity.

Getting rid of the Aquatic Centre is taking away the opportunity to keep fit. Health should be a government priority.

These pools need to be retained. Without them we have nowhere for learn to swim, school carnivals, school life saving programs, water polo, rehab exercise and the list goes on. These are an essential part of the community. Stop closing local pools. Invest in them!

I drive all the way from Newport 3 times a week to swim at the aquatic centre for my health. If there was somewhere closer I'd be happy to go there but it seems governments don't build such things any more.... are happy to add endless infill while they fail to build the facilities needed to provide for the residents.
If you must close it then build another 50 metre pool in the area before you do close it so we are not without. I have heard mention of a new, replacement 25 metre pool which would be ridiculous.... not nearly big enough considering it has to service the whole northern end of the northern beaches. This while the population is set to boom in Ingleside and, if the govt has it's way, Mona Vale. Thousands more people and where are they supposed to swim?
Don't close Warringah Aquatic! It is needed!
Pleàse keep the Aquatic Centre.
Upgrade it dont knock it. I dont like manly.
