whatever happened to common sense in this country!? the person hitting the fence has the problem not the dog trained to alert, but any dog protecting his home.

It's unfair to punish this family for something an antagonizing neighbor did to their service dog. The neighbor should be fined! Service dogs aren't dangerous animals and if they have the slightest thought that the dog had the possibility of being one they wouldn't be put through the training. This family has suffered enough and needs to be left alone. It's people like this neighbor that give so many animals a bad rap.

Is there no end to this cruelty. He barked, he did not bite. There is a huge difference. Leave the dog be. Any other dog would have done the same. He was provoked and protecting his owner. That does not mean he is dangerous.
