He sounds like a very good dog, and I think he showed considerable restraint and acted completely reasonable. That is not aggression it is model behavior. An aggressive dog would have inflicted injury. This dog did not.

A dog in his own yard defending his space should not bel abeles dangerous. Especially when he is a certified service dog who has been through rigorous training. Why aren't you prosecuting the neighbor for teasing the dog instead of the dog for defending itself and its human charge? Shame on you.

Why take him away or put him down because the neighbor torments him while he is in his own yard? The wrong person is being punished here.

My mini dachshund would jump and bark at some moron hitting the fence . That idiot is trying to cause trouble and should be punished for what he has been doing not the dog. He's doing his job. What a disgrace you all are.

Go after the neighbor, not the dog. Obviously, the dog is being deliberately provoked besides which who was hurt? This is 100% overreach. Leave this man and his dog alone. Fine the neighbor.

Service dogs are more than just that. they are companions, as well as ears, eyes and legs to those who are otherwise physically/mentally challenged. Why would anyone label this dog as dangerous, it's because THEY were not respectful of the owners familal surroundings. Leave others personal property alone and be mindful that a service dog will alert its owners when and if necessary!

It is insane that a "neighbor" can agitate the dog to the point it feels compelled to defend it's territory and his owner and the dog gets labeled "dangerous"? The one who deserves to be labeled dangerous is the damn, stupid neighbor!!!!!!
