Walter is a certified service dog who is doing what he is trained to do for his human. Since when is "barking" and "jumping on a fence" reasonable cause to declare a dog dangerous, AND use the action to raise insurance premiums or hold it against the dog for future euthanasia? Animals, as well as humans, make noise, move, jump, walk, and breath - it's all part of existing. Seems like Walter is beng singled out because he LOOKS like the much maligned Pit bull breed of dog that so many people seem to want to destroy these days. #SaveWalterMcAlister

Instead of taking Walter to court why not take the man to court for hitting a fence? Sounds stupid right? Well so does taking a dog to court for barking & jumping on a fence. Don't you have bigger things to worry about? I along with thousands of others believe that you do!

It is insane that because a neighbor eiither had a vendetta, or is scared of walter; can try and have this beautiful service dog labeled. My dogs would bark if someone banged on my fence..incredible the hateful society we are becoming.

This is not Fair. The dog was only tried to protect his owner and itself for being abused by others. He doesn't deserved that. All animals deserved love, care, and respect even they dont have a voice to speak up for themselves.

When is this madness going to STOP! Leave these beautiful gentle creatures alone. They are smart, loving and caretakers too MANY people! Lets get it right Judge Butler! I think the neighbor needs to be brought up on aggravated harassment charges! Walters family install a video camera on your property in any area this idiot tries to tease intimidate your beautiful dog and press charges!
