Disgusting that you would think of punishing a dog that has not harmed anyone but only helps people. You should be ashamed.

I would urge. These folks to move to a neighborhood that doesnt. Have disdain. For the lil feller.....once this gets thru even if its to be able to keep fur buddy, i would worry about poisioning or other. Horrids the neighbor cud come up with..... Best wishes, hope you get your hearts delight.... and you get to keep fur buddy.... Karma has no expiration date....

Maybe you should put the neighbors in jail for aggravation!

I can't believe you would consider taking away someone's service dog. God have mercy on your soul.

THERE IS A SECOND PETITION TO BE USED BY ADAM & WALTER< PLEASE SIGN and share, you'll have to cut and paste) http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/save-walter-mcalister-2 ALSO also direct message to Mayor Butler/Bryant http://www.governorbryant.com/contact/ BE AWARE ******It has been confirmed that the 'complaining neighbour' has (alleged) killed a small dog (a TINY Chihuahua!!!!!) in the past because 'it URINATED on his lawn'.... so it is a dog killer we are fighting against and Mayor Butler is supporting the killer (and probably stopped any charges for the dog killing) who is also an anti-disabled type it appears..... ironically. recently 'Mayor' Butler/Bryant signed a disabled law to give equal rights to disabled people... yet he tramples all over disabled people rights in support of a dog killer........ vote this idiot out of office!

Please save the McAlister's dog. If you want to prosecute anyone, the neighbor deserves it for taunting the dog. Please have the COURAGE to take a stand and do the right thing for the dog and the family. You would be a role-model for others having to make this decision.

Albert Schweitzer said, "The thinking person must oppose all cruel customs no matter how deeply rooted in tradition or surrounded by a halo…. We need a boundless ethic, which includes the animals also." Time to stop living in the past and joining the 21st century. If there is a question of animal cruelty, it's better to err on the side of actual reality (dog has never bit any one) than to err on the side of might could happen. He might bite someone someday. Service dogs have gone through rigorous training and I've never heard of one biting anyone. The neighbor in this story needs to be put down and not humanely.

I hope that a lawyer who litigates ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) cases sees this petition and comes forward to help. This Mayor and this town are morally wrong for certain... but I also believe they are legally wrong.
