Please do the right thing. A service dog is not only a companion but also a soul connection. Please make sure to take a look at the neighbor as well. Humans can be just as "unruly" or violent or "snappy" as did ha can be but we don't automatically take then from their families? This dog may have done nothing, please don't be hateful to judge this

This sentient, beautiful baby has NEVER shown any aggression so why can't this family keep him as the companion dog for their son that he already is?? It is truly a terrible injustice!!!!!!!

BE AWARE ******It has been confirmed that the 'complaining neighbour' has (alleged) killed a small dog (a TINY Chihuahua!!!!!) in the past because 'it URINATED on his lawn'.... so it is a dog killer we are fighting against and Mayor Butler/Byrant is supporting the killer who is also an anti-disabled type it appears..... ironically.......... recently, 'Mayor' Butler/Bryant signed a disabled law to give equal rights to disabled people... yet he tramples all over disabled people rights in support of a dog killer........ vote this idiot out of office! News came in that the 'complainer' has killed two dogs not just one.... a serial killer in the making. The FBI class animal abuse as leading to killing humans......

This is a service dog, not a vicious animal. If the neighbor has been intentionally agitating the dog, perhaps the investigation is on the wrong party.

NO ANIMAL SHOULD HAVE TO BE AGITATED BY PEOPLE...THESE ANIMALS ARE AWESOME AND PART OF THIS FAMILY AND HIS SERVICE DOG...FINE THE NEIGHBORS FOR ADGITATING THIS POOR DOG INSTEAD OF TRYING TO LIST THIS DOG AS A DANGEROUS DOG...BECAUSE THIS DOG DID NOTHING WRONG AND IF IT GOES TO A HIGHER COURT IT WILL BE REVERSED BY THE LAWS AND U SHOULD BE SUED FOR YOU YOUR PART IN HARMING THIS POOR DOG...

I think you need to look into this case more closely and I hope you make the right decision for the dog and his disabled owner . I think it's the neighbour who should be prosecuted .

If anything the neighbor should get cited for taunting this dog. They should be ashamed that they could be so mean as to try to get this dog to do something so animal services will take it. I don't know how a person could sleep at night knowing the terrible things they do would hurt this family.

Walter is of good character, which is more than can be said for the neighbour who has been taunting him. Put yourself in Walters place and how would you react to being taunted? Walter is a much loved family companion, he is not a danger to anyone. Please reconsider this consideration of registering Walter as a dangerous dog. Seems to me Walter has tolerated the nuisance neighbour a lot better than most people would have.

As a dog owner myself my dogs are my children, no dog should be separated from their family if they are well taken care of and not a threat to others in which Walter seems to fit both! Good luck my prayers are with yall!
