please let this man keep his service dog. It is an emotional moment for him - he is already facing a tough life. Don't take away his friend too.

If the dog is truly only reacting to the neighbors actions, suit should be filed against the neighbor for harassment. Any dog will react negatively if it feels threatened. People react in the same way. Maybe we should consider imposing an aggressive human registry.

I hope that this man is allowed to keep his best friend after all the bond between loved ones is a forever unconditional bond that shouldn't be broken! I fully support his efforts to ensure his best friends safety and future is with him.

Who ever this psycho neighbor is I'll come and give him a very large piece of my mind. Shame on him. He is a horrible, horrible person. He is vicious. Mean, cruel, and for that matter evil. What else can I do? I am on disability myself but if a donation can help keep Walter Home I'll be glad to make a $5.00 donation. SHAME on the neighbor. Picket his house. Put him and it on television. Tell every one what kind of a person he/they are/is. POS!!!!!!!

Please save Walter. The dog is helping a disabled man cope in life yet a noisy neighbor cannot mind their own business. If the dog living inside next door to said neighbor bothers him then let said neighbor put up an 8 foot privacy fence so they do not have to be concerned
Better yet why doesn' t the neighbor just move!

Just because this dog is a pit, is no reason he should be destroyed. He has been trained to protect his master with his disabilities.

Save Walter! Breed specific bans are unethical. If you can ban certain types of dogs then can we also then ban certain types of people???

Being an owner of several Pitbulls now and in the past, I know exactly how much they have to offer a family. I know good owners, I've known bad. Perhaps one should focus on changing PUNISHMENT for the bad owners.....just as children are a potential product of their raising, so too can animals become a product of abuse. Instead, lets focus on punishing the abusers and not the animals who work so hard to please and support us...

Not all pit and pit mixes are dangerous. This one is a service animal and the quality of this man's life depends on this dog, as mine depends on my dog. That is why the ADA also included the right to protect our service animals from this type of discrimination.
