Save Walter McAlister, The Service Dog

I have a daughter with Friedreich's ataxia and would love to have a service dog like this. I cannot believe that someone would want to take this dog away from him. Tell the neighbor to try putting himself in Walter's place. Some people have no compassion.

Labeling ANY Dog bad due to breed is ignorant, are you all liberal Democrats ? Leave the man and his dog alone he has enough problems in case you haven't noticed

I own two American Bulldogs. They are not a dangerous breed.

Please save Walter. Disabled individuals need all the help we can provide to improve their quality of life. If this dog is put to sleep, that quality would be seriously hindered.

They should have proof the dog is vicious. There probably just scared of the dog.

Please let him keep his Dog, our pets ate our family. And in this case he needs him through out his daily activities.

It is a shame that this dog is not being judged by his actions but by his breed. Leave this dog and the McAlister family alone. SAVE WALTER!!!!

If it if raised correct and I think he is, leave him alone. Disabled people have it hard enough much less someone taking part of there family away from them.

First of all an American bulldog is not a pit bull. Let's be clear on this. Second of all device dogs are so necessary and shame on any city to ban breeds. Anyone who knows how important a service dog is would be applauded by the action of this city. Please reconsider your actions against Walter and let him stay.

How can you call a dog dangerous when he has never done anything but help his master. I am so disgusted that just because someone said he is, what has this dog done to anyone????????????????????

This is ridiculous that a neighbor can do this to a man who is living life thanks to his service dog who stays by his side. I pray this neighbor is seen as vile, not the victim!
