An update on Adam and Walter the service dog
The alleged dog killer and abuser responsible for the McAlisters having to fight for their family member, friend and carers life, for them having to publicly ask for help with their legal fees has been named as Steven West. For months West has made the McAlisters life a misery .and for what reason? Their service dog Walter barked. He barked because he is a dog. Dogs communicate by barking. Mr West alleges he feared for himself and his family, he feared a dog that lived behind a six foot plus high fence, a dog that had never shown aggression to either human or animal. His sheer terror of this animal was such that he could casually reach over this six foot plus high fence surrounding the McAlisters property, and record video footage of the aforementioned dog, barking. It should perhaps also be noted that this quivering wreck of a man only recency shot two dogs, which until witnesses came forward, he denied. When the owner asked West why he had shot her Chihuahua he replied he 'did not want the animal on his property' . Witnesses however allegedly state he had left his property and shot the animal in the street then left it to die....
One witness states
..."The neighbor who is accusing Walter of being aggressive is actually responsible for shooting another neighbor's Chihuahua about 6 years ago point blank with a bb gun.
Trixie, who was only about 5 lbs. at the time, was rushed to the vet and saved. The vet could not remove the bb, however, because it was only 2cm from her heart.
The neighbor admitted to shooting the dog and paid the subsequent vet bill. His reason? "He didn't want her on his yard."
The dog had gotten loose but wasn't on his property at all.

I have experienced a similar thing with a miserable postmistress who felt compelled to come on my property, hang over my fence, and test to see if my dogs would bite. She was trespassing and had no right to do this. I hope you will use not only compassion but common sense here. Too many times in this country "authorities" just kill and destroy because it is easier than to actually take a stand for the right thing. Please stand up for this survivor dog and the family that gave him a chance to love and be loved.

is a SERVICE DOG AND HE IS DOING HIS JOB - Neighbor needs to be prosecuted. WALTER IS DOING NO WRONG

This dog is a member of a reputable family and a service dog for a disabled child. These are good citizens and reliable members of the community. There are evil and loathsome persons who are harming good people and helpless animals, which is the case of the neighbor who tormented this service dog and who deliberately endangered the dog who is loved and cherished by his family. To many hateful persons are harming dogs, and are not prosecuted, and they are allowed to walk free to continue to be menaces to society. PLEASE SUPPORT THE FAMILY IN THIS CASE, PUT AN END TO THE PERSECUTION OF THIS BELOVED DOG, AND CHARGE THE PERPETRATOR, WHO IS THE NEIGHBOR, FOR HIS INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR.
