Please seriously consider the ramifications of removing this dog from his family. It seems Adam really needs Walter to live the best life possible with his disabilities. If Walter has been harassed by the neighbor, you should be able to determine that by visiting the family yourself. Please...a child's quality of life depends on you!

Is Walter a Registered Service Animal under the law set-up by the Health and Human Resources (HHR)? If so, then Walter has 100% protection from anything the hostile cretins are trying to do. If Walter is not registered then there are steps that can be taken to document Walters relationship, support, protection and service he renders to Adam. I can help with the details. Dogs react the way they are raised. If an animal has to be registerd dangerous just becuase of breed..then a person should too. A service animal is not just an animal to the one they help. They are thier helper and friend....stop punishing breeds just becuse stupid people raise them to be anything other than a family member.

There are 4 pit bulls in our family and all are loving and kind....this young man needs his companion,you will be breaking both hearts.

Ignorant people agitate dogs and then no matter what happens it is the dogs fault. Please take into consideration that people do need this dog and that he is member of their family and has never done this before. there MUST BE MITIGATING CIRCUMSTANCES.

Pitbulls are absolutely not a dangerous breed I own two and they are the sweetest, most loving dogs I have ever owned!! As with any animal their demeanor depend on how they are raised and treated!! Exactly like children for example all the protestors and people killing police!=No respect, supervision, morals and never taughtvwhat is and is not proper behavior!!

As with all such petitions, we cannot have absolutely full information. But usually petitioners are honest and in this case, having read the story, all I can say is: seriously? You would remove a purposely teased animal? Seriously?

the real culprits here are the ones agitating the dog. If he did not contain a pitbull mix they probably wouldn't have antagonized him-assuming the worst. Sign this petition and save this dog from being profiled and taken away from his family.
